DeMattia Rubber Flexing
Crack-Propagation Fatigue Test

The QM650D DeMattia tester cycles perforated standard specimens in tension/compression bending at a constant speed, simulating the repeated flexing that rubber goods see in service, and observes/records crack initiation and propagation. Up to 50 mm upward and 120 mm downward stroke are adjustable, with a wide 0.1-5.0 cycle/s flexing frequency.

From tire sidewalls to rubber seals - rubber goods crack and propagate under repeated flexing, and flex-fatigue life directly affects product safety. The DeMattia method is the classic rubber-industry flex-crack-propagation test; its low-vibration, low-noise design keeps long-run data consistent.

Built for rubber flex-fatigue evaluation - DeMattia cyclic flexing plus crack observation, compliant with ISO 132.
