of separator hot-press formingLaboratory Benchmark Equipment
The QM940AS air-heated platen tester is driven by a high-pressure pneumatic cylinder with a high-precision load cell for ±0.1 kgf micro-load closed-loop control - the key step that takes separator heat-setting from lab to production.
The platen surface is mirror-ground to ±0.001 mm flatness; the 4-axis high-strength special-steel frame holds zero deformation at 250°C / 2.5 t, ensuring every separator is pressed to uniform thickness with batch consistency.
For Li-ion battery separators: Polyolefin separator heat setting, ceramic-coated separator lamination, separator micropore structure control, separator thermal-shrinkage post-treatment.
For solid-state and electrodes: Solid-state electrolyte powder pelletizing, small solid-state battery specimen forming, Li-ion electrode hot pressing, electrode-coat thermal curing.
For fuel cells: MEA electrode hot pressing, GDL gas-diffusion-layer bonding, catalyst-layer/proton-exchange-membrane lamination.
The TPR phase-controlled power system provides a stable field with over-temperature/leakage/over-pressure triple safety interlocks; a digital indicator and remote control are optional - one machine covering all separator hot-press needs from materials R&D to process validation.
Built for precision hot-press forming - coordinated temperature/pressure control ensures batch consistency.
