Adhesive Impact Toughness
ASTM D950 Bonding Impact Testing

The QM750B adhesive impact tester is dedicated to measuring the toughness and impact-peel resistance of bonded joints under impact loading. Impact speed 3.4 m/s ± 1; air-drag-coefficient-optimized structural design; adjustable core specimen holder and standard fixtures; compliant with the ASTM D950 adhesive impact test standard.

From structural adhesives to sealants: the toughness of a bonded joint under impact directly relates to bond reliability. ASTM D950 is a classic method for rating adhesive impact-peel strength: a standard bonded specimen is placed under pendulum impact and the impact energy absorbed per bonded area is measured.

Designed for bonding-impact evaluation: pendulum impact plus standard fixtures; ASTM D950 adhesive testing.
