Taber Rotary-Wheel
Multi-Material Wear Evaluation

The QM600T Taber abrasion tester uses standard Taber wheels to abrade specimens under defined load and speed, calculating the abrasion index from mass loss. The low-noise, low-vibration BLDC drive gives excellent abrasion-index repeatability for plastics, rubber, flooring and wood.

From floor finishes to plastic housings - material surfaces endure repeated friction in daily use, and wear resistance directly affects appearance and service life. The Taber method is the globally accepted standard for surface-wear testing, with cross-industry comparable data.

Designed for surface-wear evaluation - Taber wheels plus the mass-loss method, compliant with ASTM D1044.
