Flexible-Fabric Surface Burning
Apparel & Decor Flame-Retardant Testing
The QM500D-S fabric surface-burning tester, based on ISO 15025, applies a small flame to the surface of vertically mounted single- or multi-layer flexible fabrics to evaluate flame spread over the fabric surface and edges. The burner moves forward/backward automatically, supporting both 30° and 90° test angles, and suits coated, quilted, multi-layer and sandwich-structured fabric combinations.
From protective clothing to decorative curtains - the flame retardancy of flexible fabrics directly relates to personnel safety. ISO 15025 is the international standard for evaluating flame retardancy of apparel and decorative fabrics, simulating the actual spread of a small flame contacting a fabric surface.
Designed for flexible-fabric flame-retardancy evaluation - ISO 15025 plus automatic advance/retreat, compliant for apparel and decor.
