Aircraft-Interior Flame Retardancy
Multi-Angle Burning per Aviation Standard
The QM500SA aviation interior flame-retardant tester flame-tests interior materials of fixed-wing aircraft, jet aircraft and helicopters, running vertical, horizontal, 45° and 60° multi-angle burning methods in parallel. It measures burn time, flame-spread time, drip burn time and burn length to evaluate the flame retardancy of carbon-fiber composite and other aviation interior materials.
From seat fabrics to cabin composites - aviation interior fire protection is the lifeline of flight safety. Compliant with FAR Part 25.853/CFR Part 25.853 aviation fire-protection standards, multi-angle testing covers flame-spread behavior under actual installation conditions.
Designed for aviation-interior flame-retardancy evaluation - multi-angle burning plus FAR 25.853 compliance, an aviation-material market-access test.
