Hot-Press Specimen Mold
Standard Bar Press Forming

The MOLD is a specimen mold dedicated to the QM900 series hot press, pressing plastics and rubber composites into standard test bars. Four versions are available - SKD steel, Teflon-coated, three-part assembly and custom - fitting QM900S/M/L, QM900SA/MA/LA and QM900A series hot presses.

From formulation R&D to mechanical testing - new materials must be pressed into standard dumbbell bars before tensile properties can be measured. The mold cavity defines the specimen shape; the SKD steel mold is durable, the Teflon coating releases without sticking, and the three-part design eases extraction - core tooling for preparing standard specimens on a hot press.

Designed for hot-press sample preparation - standard specimen molds in multiple versions for dumbbell/bar specimens.
