MD-300S-1 Electronic Density Meter

The MD-300S-1 is a derived configuration of the MD-300S electronic density meter (Alpha-Mirage, Japan). It comprises an integrated specific-gravity kit, a wind shield and a safety cover, and uses the PAT method for high-precision specific-gravity measurement of both solids and liquids.

The electronic density meter offers a weighing resolution of 0.001 g and a direct density-reading resolution of 0.001 g/cm³; with temperature compensation, specific-gravity readings are stable and repeatable.

Suitable for fast specific-gravity and density measurement of solids and liquids such as plastic pellets, rubber and ceramics; vacuum filtration is available to remove air bubbles.

The standard MD-300S-1 electronic density meter measures the specific gravity of plastics, rubber and composites. Its integrated specific-gravity kit and wind-safety-cover design, together with the PAT method, deliver high-precision specific-gravity measurement from solids to liquids. With a weighing range of 0.01~300 g, it is suited to routine, fast density analysis of materials.

From plastic pellets to foamed materials, density is a fundamental indicator for formulation and process control. The standard model meets routine density-measurement needs for plastics, rubber and composites. Archimedes buoyancy-based automatic calculation makes it simple and fast to operate, and is the baseline configuration for laboratory density measurement.
